AI Cat Video Generator: you write the story, your cat stars in it

Add a photo of your cat and one line about what happens. We write three story options, you pick one, and your cat plays the part with sound and music in a few minutes.

We turn your idea into a full shot plan: same cat, one clear action, steady camera, matching sound.

My cat is a chef flipping pancakes, and the last one lands right on its head.

Make an AI cat video in 3 steps

  1. A cat photo
    01

    Add a photo

One clear photo of your cat. The face, fur and markings carry into the video.

  2. An idea turned into a shot plan
    02

    Write what happens

One line is enough. Pick 5, 10 or 15 seconds, then pick one of three story options. Want your cat to talk? Add its line.

  3. The finished cat video
    03

Watch your cat star in it

A few minutes later the video is ready, with sound, vertical for TikTok and Reels. Saved in My videos.

Three ideas, three cat videos

Each one started as a single sentence and a photo. Same tool, same settings you get.

  • My cat is a chef flipping pancakes, and the last one lands right on its head.

    The chef

  • My cat rides a skateboard down the hallway, lands a kickflip, then looks at the camera like it was nothing.

    The skater

  • My cat is a secret agent sneaking to the treat cupboard, rolling under the table in slow motion.

    The agent

Why your idea comes out right

You write the story the way you'd tell a friend. We do the part that makes AI video behave.

Your one-line idea next to what AIPet adds: same cat, one clear moment, steady camera, matching sound, nothing written on screen
  • Three story options, shot by shot

Your idea comes back as three storyboards: physical comedy, a to-camera moment and a cozy take, each with its shots, camera, light, sound and music. Or skip them and we use your words as written, with the rules that keep the same cat in every frame.

  • The right model for each video

AIPet uses different AI video models for different jobs: one for stories and action, one for talking, one for dancing. We keep testing new ones on price and quality, and switch when something works better for you.

  • Your photo gets checked

The maker checks your photo's size and format before anything renders, and tells you when a photo is too small to keep your cat's fur and markings true.

  • Failed videos cost nothing

If a video fails, the credits go straight back. No form, no waiting.

How to write an idea that works

  • One cat, one place, one action: 'My cat paints a tiny portrait in a sunny studio.'
  • A payoff at the end: 'then knocks the paint over and walks off.'
  • A mood or a style if you like: slow motion, dramatic, cozy, rainy.
  • Several scenes in a row: 'runs a marathon, then flies to Paris, then cooks dinner.'
  • Long dialogue: one short line per video lip-syncs best. For longer speeches, the talking pet tool is built for it.
  • Big stunts in fine detail: they get simplified. A kickflip comes out as a plain ride.

Which cat photos work best

A tabby-and-white cat sitting up and facing the camera
Face clear, eyes open, good light, whole cat or head and shoulders.
A tabby cat curled up on a ledge
Curled up, far away or blurry. The AI has to guess, and your cat may look less like your cat.

Sharp photos work best, ideally 1,000 pixels or more on the short side.

AI cat video FAQ

Is the AI cat video generator free?+

You can try it free: one 5-second video with a watermark. After that it costs 7 credits per second.

What can I write?+

Any safe, everyday idea with your cat in it: a job, a sport, a little drama. One scene per video works best.

Will it look like my cat?+

It starts from your photo and keeps your cat's face, fur and markings. A sharp, well-lit photo gives the closest match.

What are the story options?+

Tap Write 3 story options and AIPet turns your idea into three short storyboards, each with its shots, camera moves, light, sound and music. Pick the one you like. They're free on paid plans; free accounts get a few a day to try.

Does the video have sound?+

Yes: sound effects, background music written for the scene, and, if you add one, a short line your cat says on camera with its mouth in sync. For longer talking, use the talking pet tool.

How long can a video be?+

5, 10 or 15 seconds. Longer videos cost more credits.

How long does it take?+

Usually 2 to 4 minutes. You can close the page; the video lands in My videos.

Does it work with dogs?+

You can upload any pet. The examples on this page are cats.

Where does my photo go?+

Into private storage on your account. It's deleted once your video is ready, and your video stays private unless you share it.

Is it real?+

No. Every frame is made by AI from your photo and your idea. Label it as AI-generated when you post it.

Your cat has range. Give it a role.
