AI Cat Dance: put your cat in any dance video
Add one photo of your cat and any dance clip up to 15 seconds. Your cat takes the dancer's place, on the same beat, in the same spot, with the same song.
We'll check the length after upload · 10 credits per second

Make your cat dance in 3 steps
01Add your cat's photo
One clear photo, ideally sitting up. Your cat's face, coat and markings carry into every frame.
02Add a dance video
Any clip from 4 to 15 seconds with one dancer in full view. Longer clips use their first 15 seconds.
03Get your cat's dance
Usually ready in 3–6 minutes, vertical or wide like your clip, with its original soundtrack. Saved in My videos.
Tested October 2026
We tried it on Poldino, a 15-year-old house cat
This time the dancer is Poldino, a 15-year-old tabby. We used the same clip and settings as our dog test, and one photo of him sitting up and facing the camera.

- Poldino took the dancer's place by the lake. The sky, the water, the camera and his spot in the frame stayed as filmed.
- Every move landed at the same moment as the dancer's, from the raised arm at 2 seconds to the wide arms at 5. Our frame-by-frame check found zero delay, the same as our dog test.
- His face held up: the white stripe down his nose, the pink nose, the yellow-green eyes and the white chest.
- His paws stayed cat paws and his tail stayed on, swinging with the steps. No human hands appeared.
- His coat came out a little greyer and more evenly striped than the warm brown tabby in his photo.
AIPet uses Seedance 2.0 by ByteDance. We tested four AI video models with real dance clips, and Seedance was the only one that kept every move in sync.

Pick any dance for your cat
A K-pop routine, a trend from your feed, a friend's clip. Use one you filmed or have permission to use. These make the biggest difference:
- One dancer, head to toe in the frame
- Camera on a tripod or held still
- A single continuous take
- Clear light, dancer not hidden by others
- Groups where dancers cross in front of each other
- Fast cuts between angles
- Close-ups that cut off the feet
- Very dark or blurry clips

Which cat photos work best

Most cat photos show a cat lying down. If you can, take a new one while your cat sits up and watches you, a treat in your hand helps.
How AI cat dance videos are made
Most AI cat dance clips come from one of two kinds of tools. Template tools give you a handful of preset dances and animate your photo to one of them. Video tools take a real dance clip and move your cat the same way. Some trace the dancer's skeleton and push the photo along it, which loses track when dancers overlap. AIPet gives the model the whole clip and asks it to redraw only the dancer, so the background, the camera and the timing stay put.
How to tell a dancing cat is AI
- It stays up on its back legs for the whole song and balances on one foot. Real cats stand up only for a moment.
- Its front legs move like human arms. They swing out wide, cross over the chest and wave from the shoulder.
- Its body stretches to a person's shape, with long back legs and a long middle.
- The coat looks cleaner and more evenly striped than the real cat's, and every move lands right on the beat.
The background won't give it away. In our test it stayed the same as the original clip.

Posting your cat's dance on TikTok and Reels
Your video keeps the soundtrack and the shape of the clip you uploaded, so a vertical dance stays vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- TikTok asks creators to label AI-generated content that shows realistic scenes.
- YouTube asks you to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content when you upload.
If your clip uses a popular song, the safest way to post is to add that song from the app's own sound library instead of relying on the copy in the file.
What it costs
- 10 credits per second of dance, counted from your clip (rounded up). A 10-second dance is 100 credits; a 15-second dance is 150.
- Pro comes with 1,000 credits a month (ten 10-second dances), Pro Max with 2,500. Credit packs start at 250 credits.
- New accounts can try it free: the first 5 seconds of your dance, watermarked.
- If a video fails, the credits go straight back.

AI cat dance FAQ
Is the AI cat dance generator free?+
You can try it free: a new account renders the first 5 seconds of your dance with a watermark. Full dances up to 15 seconds cost 10 credits per second.
Can I use a photo of my cat lying down?+
Yes, but the model then has to guess the legs and body it can't see. A photo of your cat sitting up and facing you gives the closest match.
Can I choose the song?+
The song comes from your dance clip. Pick a clip with the music you want, and the finished video keeps it, in sync with the moves.
Can two cats dance together?+
Not yet. Each video takes one photo of one pet and a clip with one dancer.
Is it safe for my cat?+
Your cat doesn't have to do anything. All the dancing happens in the video, made from one photo.
Do I need an app?+
No. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer. Pick the photo and the clip from your camera roll.
Can I get my cat's dance as a GIF?+
Yes. Every finished dance has a Download GIF button next to the video. The AI cat dance GIF page also has free cat dance GIFs to send. AI cat dance GIF

Where do my photo and video go?+
Into private storage on your account. The dance video and its cut-up copies are deleted as soon as your cat's video is ready. Your result stays private unless you share it.
Is it real footage?+
No. Every frame is generated by AI from your photo and the dance video, and it should be labeled as AI-generated when you post it.
